URUBU Facilitator Immersion
A One-Month Residential Training in Embodied Facilitation, Ritual Arts & Collective Transformation
About the URUBU Facilitator Training
This is URUBU’s flagship facilitator training.
A one-month, immersive initiation for those who feel called to hold transformational spaces — not through one technique, but through embodied presence, relational maturity, and ethical leadership across multiple modalities.
This training is not about becoming a specialist in everything.
It is about becoming someone who can hold space — across movement, breath, emotion, creativity, intimacy, and community — with coherence, humility, and care.
What This Immersion Is
The URUBU Facilitator Immersion is a residential, in-person training that integrates all core URUBU modalities into a single, comprehensive facilitation pathway.
Participants train across:
- Ecstatic Dance (music-led ritual facilitation)
- Breathwork
- Bioenergetic & somatic release practices
- Tantric Trance Dance
- Mush / platonic touch & co-regulation
- Creative Flow Dojo (trance, imagination, creative emergence)
- Group facilitation, ritual design & ethical leadership
Rather than teaching these as separate toolkits, the immersion focuses on how they interrelate, and how you learn to hold them from a single, embodied centre. You are not trained to “run sessions.” You are trained to become a facilitator.

What Makes This Training Different
Many facilitator trainings focus on what to do: techniques to apply, formats to follow, scripts to memorise, methods to replicate. URUBU takes a different approach. This training is concerned with who you are in the room — your capacity, your presence, your relational intelligence, and your ability to sense and respond to what is actually happening.
Throughout the immersion, we develop nervous-system literacy, ethical awareness, and creative responsiveness. These qualities cannot be memorised or copied; they are cultivated through lived experience, reflection, and honest feedback.
At the heart of this training is a simple understanding: who you are in the room matters more than what you do. The modalities are not the point. They are languages — ways through which presence, attunement, and responsibility are expressed.
The Immersion Experience
For one month, you live and train together within a contained, intentional environment. Days unfold as a balance of embodied practice, experiential learning, facilitation labs, reflection, and integration. You are witnessed by your peers, held in community, and given space for ritual, rest, and digestion.
There is room here for both intensity and spaciousness — for expression and for quiet integration, for togetherness and for solitude. This is not a retreat, a holiday, or a performance space. It is a training ground for real facilitators: people learning how to hold others with clarity, humility, and care.
What You Will Learn
Over the course of the immersion, you learn how to hold groups through movement, breath, stillness, and sound. You develop the ability to read and respond to individual and collective nervous systems, and to facilitate emotional expression without tipping into overwhelm.
You will work skillfully with trance, activation, and integration, and learn how to design and hold ritual spaces with both clarity and restraint. Power dynamics, projection, and boundaries are explored in depth, alongside ethical approaches to touch, intimacy, and co-regulation. Leadership is reframed as relational — not performative, inflated, or coercive.
Just as importantly, you learn discernment. You learn when not to intervene, when to slow things down, when to step back, and when “not yet” is the most responsible response you can offer.
An Initiation, Not a Collection of Certificates
This training does not aim to turn you into a multi-modality expert, a spiritual leader, or a polished, brand-ready facilitator overnight. What it offers instead is a grounded initiation into facilitation — one rooted in deep self-contact, honest reflection, and responsibility.
You will receive clear, compassionate feedback from peers and mentors, and develop an embodied understanding of what it means to work with people, not techniques. Completion does not equal entitlement. Readiness is assessed holistically. Some participants may leave ready to facilitate; others may leave knowing what still needs time. Both outcomes are honoured.
Ethics, Power & Responsibility
Working with bodies, breath, trance, and intimacy carries real power. Throughout the immersion, these realities are named and engaged directly. Authority and influence, projection and idealisation, consent and boundaries, sexual energy versus sexual behaviour, dual relationships in community, accountability and repair — none of this is left abstract.
These conversations are lived, practiced, and reflected upon together. Ethics here is not a checklist; it is a relational practice that grows through awareness, humility, and repair.
Who This Immersion Is For
This immersion is for those who feel called to facilitate transformational spaces responsibly — people who value depth over speed, and who are willing to be seen, reflected, and challenged. It is for those who care about safety, ethics, and relational maturity, and who want to learn how to hold others, not just what to do.
It is likely not the right fit if you are seeking quick certification, status, or passive retreat experiences; if you are collecting modalities rather than developing capacity; or if you are unwilling to examine power, boundaries, and impact.
Your Invitation
This immersion is for those who feel a steady, grounded yes — not a rush, not an escape, not a fantasy. If you are willing to meet yourself, others, and the work honestly, and to grow into facilitation as a practice of service and responsibility, this may be a place to begin — or to deepen.
